These Tribes, commonly known by English and French names, are the Colville, the Nespelem, the San Poil, Lake, Palus, Wenatchi (Wenatchee), Chelan, Entiat, Methow, southern Okanogan, Moses Columbia and the Nez Perce of Chief Joseph’s Bands. The Tribes trace their roots back to twelve nomadic, aboriginal groups.
